David's visit
David was home for the weekend, travelling light thanks to Qantas.
Rob was there with Stacey, very tired after the half-marathon but cheered up immensely after a couple of Lion Reds.
Kristina and her kids came and all-in-all it was an enjoyable afternoon.

Venus & Wellington
Tuesday night I tried out the Toshiba laptop and managed to get a picture of Venus, without tripping over the cat. I could get up at 3am and photograph Mars & Saturn.... one day.
Wednesday it was off to Wellington on this plane, unfortunately had centre seats both ways.

Off to Wenderholm
Nice sunny Sunday, we bought bacon and egg filled rolls and a Montana Sauvignon Blanc and headed for Wenderholm in the Jag.
Wenderholm has an estaury that leads to the ocean, just great for kayaks.
There are lots of sea birds, including:
NZ Dotterels
Oystercatchers, Black and Pied
Tuis
and Seagulls

Babysitting
The kids came for a couple of hours as K & W were out on occasion of W's birthday. Raisins kept them quiet for a very short while, especially searching under the sofa for the ones they dropped.
Emily's red-eyes have been unprofessionally Photoshopped.
Rhys was happy after a bottle.

Walkies
We went for a walk in the local gardens today .....
and found ducks in that pond - well, it is spring.
First Pics
Like tree-tomatoes?
Once you get a digital camera, you need a way of showing them (after deleting the first 100 or so). Closeups seem reasonably successful.
