Leaving Havelock North we went up to check out the view at Te Mata Peak before heading for Palmerston North. We intended to go via the wind turbines but ran out of time.

Here are some shots of the 7 Tenors and the string quartet on their visit to Orakei Korako today, in transit from Hamilton to Havelock North. They have a morning memorial service for the 1931 earthquake and an evening concert in Hastings tomorrow. We all enjoyed a BBQ tonight. My Titanic T-shirt was the most Irish thing there!
