
It was showery with a cold south-westerly blowing. But not cold enough for this guy who apparently feels he has to carry a burden with him. He wasn't watching planes, probably thinking about Easter. Perhaps it was the Second Coming. Would Jesus be followed by a van with a flashing light?

Had a play with ISO settings to see how the propellors looked: The first (Beech 19) is ISO 1600, the second (Dash 8) ISO 200.

This little guy did an approach then pulled away without landing, probably to avoid a $1000 bill. Airliners.net tells me it is a
Beech76 Duchess from Ardmore Flying School.

A Britten-Norman Islander did the usual swing over the carpark, this one is apparently operated by Wings over Whales Ltd from Kaikoura.

And the usual 767's. It was getting dark and rainy at this point and I called it a day.
