Ardmore Airport wanderings

Spent a couple of hours at Ardmore, Sunday is probably a better day with some warbird activity, but here's a few random shots.

If another plane is on the runway, you have to 'go-round'. This is an uncontrolled airport, and it works just as well with an empty control tower.

I wish someone would restore this Bristol Freighter. It is customary when landing these that the checklist 'gear down' response is 'gear down and welded'.

And it's about time the MIG was fired up and flown.

'Pick-A-Part' for Catalinas.

Who would like a Cessna Citation in their Christmas stocking? There are 4 shots of this on Airliners.net
