Warbirds Open Day (Battle of Britain Day)
What a great place for an aircraft nut with a camera. Just don't walk in front of the planes while they are starting, please, and go over by the runway to watch the take-off - sure, no problem.
Covers are removed, pilots & passengers all aboard.
Taxi past the spectators and take off 3-abreast if you can.
I understand from a plane spotter that this is a Cessna Jet Trainer. Westpac's chopper is always around a show, looking for a donation.
This Metroliner came in after the take-offs.
