Motorsport
Had a rainy Saturday with the Capri Car Club on the Taupo long track. Rain is not fun in a sports car. The Orchid handled well in the wet. Julie has some Taupo pics on her blog.
Hampton Downs is coming along nicely, here's the latest pictures. It's not by the jail, where I thought it was, it's close to the main road.
There should be some pictures of the Domain hillclimb and the TACCOC Le-Mans 2.04 hour race on Groundsky shortly, they keep promising. Look for car # 61.
I have secured a pair of Dellorto 40 side-drafts for the Orchid, hopefully will have a manifold this week, that should make it breath better at full revs.
