You might be interested to keep an eye on the Centennial Raiders who are following the Peking to Paris Rally in a collection of classic cars. My boss, Greg Paul is in a Fiat 125. They chose to do the trip this way and avoid the £7000 entry fee of the official event, and it also allows them to run cars later than 1960. The oldest car in the official event is a 1902 Mercedes.
