A Macro lens for $10
I found on eBay that if you add some rings between an ordinary lens and the camera, you can convert an ordinary lens into an ultra close-up macro lens. You lose the auto focus & exposure but for $10 that's OK.
Here are some shots of Dizzy Lizzy and Alyssum flowers, and a stamp so you can see how big the image is. Taken with a 50mm Nikkor lens.
